Here are the results from the long awaited flash tune for the BMW N55 335i. The notable differences between the 35i N54 predecessor and the all new N55 powerplant are the configuration of the turbo/s and the addition of BMW’s Valvetronic system, making the N55 more efficient than the N54 inline 6. The ECU tune that was dyno tested is an OBD2 flash and can be done while the customer waits. This particular car that was tested had an aftermarket downpipe installed, running CA91 pump gas. The gains seen to the wheels on our in-ground 4×4 Dyno Dynamics dyno were: +57wTq@3600rpm & +41wHp@5250rpm when comparing the factory flash baseline vs. OE Tuning ECU flash.
